SOME Projects that our team worked on
The Altai Republic, Russia: After prolonged resistance from the hunting lobby in the government, a ban on hunting the endangered Capra ibex was finally implemented and remains in effect to this day.
Dagestan Republic: Assistance has been provided in seeking funding for an expedition to preserve Capra aegagrus.
Wrangel Island, Russia: The protection of the crucial habitat of polar bears from destruction by construction of military objects on its territory.
Franz Josef Land Archipelago, Russia: Blocking of VIP tourist expeditions to the dens of polar bears under the auspices of the Russian Geographical Society.
Red List of Russia: Despite lobbying efforts from the hunting lobby within the government, the update to the list of animals did not see a reduction in species. It remained largely in line with the demands of scientists. An attempt to legalize the hunting of animals from the Red List was also separately blocked.
Protection of Migratory Birds Legislation: The authority to impose a ban on spring hunting of waterfowl has been retained at the regional level, preventing the hunting lobby from gaining full control.
Southern Regions of Russia: After the prohibited use of chemical agents was discovered, the southern regions of Russia were compelled to acknowledge errors and implemented a temporary ban on waterfowl hunting.
